C450: Change copier default to print only in black - not color - newbie here!

Hi,

I am new to the world of large, multi-function office machines.
My boss gave me the task of figuring out how to set our C450's default copy setting from "Auto Color" to black and white. I took the copier manuals home with me last night and didn't find the answer.

Can someone please help?

on the copy screen set the machine to black and white.
Press utility/counter
touch user tools
touch copier settings
touch default copier settings
touch current settings
then keep pressing ok until back at the main screen


thats how to do it on c451 which should be same or almost on a c450
