7272 lines

Hi guys

I have a 7272 that gives me lines, almost looks like an internal test pattern. very fine -- only happens when you do an internal print test or when you print to it. Copy functions are fine. Have replaced print control board...

Any help would be great.

I'll take a punt and say scanner control board. I don't have a wiring diagram for one of these but typically digital machines print via the scanner board (what ever the CCD plugs into).

Is it just prints from the interface that have a problem or do you see it on the management list as well? If it is just the IP re seat the Ip, if problem still exist, try a system code restore. Let me know how you make out.

Thanks for help. Turned out to be two faulty Print Boards. Murphy's Law huh.
