C6501 -Are Color Drums and Black Drum the same?

Are they? My colleague tells me she can only find one kind of drum on the supplier's site, but I saw two different drums, for K and for CMY. Did anything change?

All the drums in the unit are the same, they are NOT the same from a C500 though. So don't try to pull them out of one of those. lol
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

Apparently at one point KM decided to have a K drum and C drums but from what I have read the K drum was a POS and didnt give the extra life that was advertised........ So now we just use the C drums for all.
