repost C550 takes a while to print----------any ideas?

bizhub C550 with about 200k and working absolutely great! But about one or two times a day customer complains that it copies fine but a print job sent to the unit takes up to 10 minutes to be printed. We sent our tech out various times but he has been unable to recreate the problem.

does it happen when times of heavy network use? Had a customer with a bad switch, and one with a bad hub.

Thanks for replying. It happens very infrequently and doesn't seem to coincide with heavy network usage and their on staff it guy seems to think it's not network related. The copier is not in sleep mode or anything either.

Our customer was using a new gigabyte switch. went back to 10/100 and it worked fine. Never a problem with network. LOL!!!!. Usually nic just doesn't get flaky. usually goes out. We had the IT department we were working with, create a small network. Pc a switch, and the printer. Do this when they are having a problem. Then print. my guess it will work fine.

Seen the Universal driver be slow as well, though it's not usually intermittent, it's always slow. Is this happening with any specific file types such as pdf?
