A Bizhub press C6000 keeps coming up with a C6801 fault code at switch on every morning. The manual says its a communication failure between the OACB and OPB/1 boards. When I open the operational console, pull out and refix the connectors on the OPB/1, the fault clears up and works for the rest of the day. But this is no guarantee that it won't come up with the same fault the next morning. Pls what can be the lasting solution to this issue??? Thanks all.

If the wiring is good it must be one of the boards you mentioned, the Over All Control Board or Operation Board /1.
I have not seen this myself and I have not seen this in the most recent version of Solutions. -
