    Networking Konica 7020

    Hello all...

Having trouble networking a knonica 7020. Print board installed is an IP 421 but when going into key op mode and selecting printer, it doesn't allow an IP address to be input. There is no option to input? Any help greatly appreciated

You can't input an IP address in the operation panel with k7020 and IP421.
Is installed a network card in the controller IP421? If yes you have to check its MAC address and perform the ARP command from the dos prompt:

    arp -s IP_ADDRESS MAC_ADDRESS

after some minutes the machine should print a configuration page (if set it) and try to ping it.

        Re: Networking Konica 7020

Hi there. Also looking for some help with networking my 7020 as well. I DO have an IP address from the configuration page. 192.168.1.20. I have my mac and the 7020 only on a router. My mac gets a DHCP assign ip from this. (i have even tried connecting directly with a crossover cable).

I've set up both IP and LPD printers but cannot see the printer at all. I've tried to see if I can web connect to 192.168.1.20 and it does not.

I cannot think of anything else that wouldn't let the two talk.

        I have installed:
        KONICAMINOLTA_PDEInstaller.pkg
        IP422PPDDriver.pkg

and even went to see if GIMP or gutenprint could help me.

Any ideas? Any help I would be grateful.

        ryan
