Konica Minolta DI550 Error 1808

Got print controller error 1808 after installing the network controller so
my customer could scan documents. Machine is Di550

Does anybody know what this error code means?

I install another network controller that works great in Di450 into the
Di550 and no error showed up, but do not have the scan option on menu,
even though the print out sheet indicates a network controller with IP address.

Any ideas?

Probably a controller firmware problem

Description

C-1808 or CrE18A1 error codes.

Solution

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Firmware problem on the controller SMART card.
Upgrade, referring to bulletin 4485 .
2. Poor connection.
Check the connection of the SMART card. Remove the card and gently clean the contacts with alcohol. Reseat the card, and re-flash the SMART card.
Please refer to bulletin 3965 for flash instructions.
3. Inadequate power.
In many cases, this can be resolved by replacing PWB-C.
