    Minolta 5000

    Hello Every Body


    The Old minolta 5000 create a problem for me.
    After a single copy made. machine goes to please wait.
    when i restart the machine the status is similar.
    Toner tank full with toner (NO NEED FOR MORE TONER)

    I dont no what wrong with machine. Have any soloution??
    I am waiting........

      hello friend maybe you check bad similar toner ..maybe the motor how moving the toner down is bloked ..well if the service manual is usefully sent me your mail l have for minolta ep4000 l think it is same model

        Is the machine making any noise while in the please wait mode? If it is making a motor noise it may be still adding toner and you may have a bad ATDC sensor. Also if it has a sorter attached, remove it and try again. That gave me that problem once years ago. If you go into tech mode you can check the toner percentage level, it should be around 6% I believe.
