does anybody know what would be the proper driver for a mac computer for it to print on 11/17 the driver install would not give me the option on the printer properties

First of all, your post is giving us very little information about your problem. You have to specify what kind of copier do you use!
I never used a Mac to print, but I'll try to help you: in the driver, where you select the paper size, search for "Custom size" or "custom" or something like that, and try to input the size in inches, manually.I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums?
