On this machine it is one or the other, on the C451 or C452 you can use both, but not on this model.

I haven't done anything with 10.7 yet, so I can't help you with those questions, sorry!

Look for an "Obtain IP for Engine" and select yes.

Ask the IT admin to provide you 2 successive IP addresses for the copier, the lower one will be assigned to the Fiery within the setup screens. The higher will be assigned to the Emperon by the controller.

Put the C450 into DHCP assigning and allow the controller to give it an address ( you should see 172.X>X>X on the panel).

Open a web browser and try both IP addresses, one should open the Fiery interface, the other will open the Emperon.

Now you can use the functions the emperon offers ie SMB scanning, email, etc.

Keep in mind, I am only assuming the C450 can do this, but I am fairly certain it will. I will double check with my support guys and get back soon. Emujo
            I believe his is correct.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

I thought I was wrong once before, but I was mistaken.....

After double checking I have proof that I am correct. I have attached a document that will explain how this is done and what the limitaions are. Emujo

If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

The answer to this is obvious. Redundant controllers are better than one controller.
The C550 and C552 have this ability. It's like having two printers in one.

If it's possible, Siradlib, it's news to me.

                However...

It's quite handy to have an Emperon driver set loaded. Rename it something like "Konica Backup" (or other identifying label) and instruct the customer not to try and use it. (If a shared network driver, simply don't add it at the client level.)

In the event the Fiery goes down, it's a little fancy footwork on site, and the customer is printing again.
