The thing is that I have a bizhub c220 but the toners cost much more than the ones for say a c 250. Can I buy the toner for the c250. WIll it work on my machine and if not why?

I asked the exact same question in relation to canon copiers. I believe the toner is the same. I just don.t believe that their is a multitultiude of different toners made by manufacturers

I would suggest that you open a bottle of C250 toner, dump it in the C220 bottle and see what happens..PS would you please call me for the billable service call if it doesn't work??? My personal opinion would be no it won't work...KM is using something called Simitri developer/toner, much finer that older toners so I think you would be screwing the new MFP up by doing so. Put it under maintenance and toner is included. Emujo
