Unless you have a specific need for the Fiery PRint Controller, then why don't you just use the standard in built controller?

The standard controller is built into the machine. You can't remove it as it is part of the MFP board.

In the case that it may be disabled, then you need to go into Service Mode and change the peripheral setting to Mode1 from memory.

The reason is the macine hangs in.blue screen hour glass wont get past that i was told to replace the print controller

You need to look at doing a firmware upgrade or replacing the MFP board.

Post a new thread with the exact symptoms and what you may have done already.

The print controller is part of the MFP board, but you can usually fix these machines with the same issue as you have discribed. Try the firmware upgrade first and see if that helps the machine.
