    bizhub 363 jam

    jam indicates that it is in the vertical transport area. and the code is 2 9 1 1. which is wierd. anyways this jams letter out of tray 2. every 3 or 4 copies/. jams consistentlly. so on a whim I swapped paper trays to letter tray 1. no problem. it just seems wierd that it would count a jam in the vertical transport area (because that is where the paper did stop) but it was really a jam out of the tray?
    any thoughts on this? thanks.. brent

      Check the firmware level. There was an update for jamming. Sets the timing a little better.

          also try duplexing from any tray with letter. see if it jams. the machine has a clutch that actuates the timing roller or synchronizing roller. tray 1 shouldn't have a and issue as the path is shorter. the machine will also not check tray 1 as the timing is based off the actuation of the feed clutch then the blocking and unblocking of pc1. tray 2, 3, 4 base off of the feed sensors then pc1.also check the timing roller sensor (pc1).

          possible that the clutch may be bad
