[Misc] Noisy olivettimf220

Hi all my first post

i have a olivetti mf220 (not sure of the KM model i thinkit,s the c353 )
Knocking noise from the copier that was solved by replacing the Transfer belt the old transfer belt still working when fitted to another machine .
This problem has happened twice so far and we have replaced the Transfer belt twice already .

Any ideas?

Check to see if the wast toner system for the transfer belt is backing up. If it is getting clogged the gear drive will jump and make your knocking noise. This can be caused by a faulty waste toner recepticle that is not opening the shutter so when you move the belt to another machine it the good waste toner in it opens the shutter and clears out the auger.

Replace the waste toner box.

Also make sure you remove all the tape from the transfer belt
