C6500 tray setting

Have a problem with a 6500 tray size setting error. Whatever the position of the side guides in tray 3 of the machine it will not register A4R as a paper size. Have checked and replaced the size sensor potentiometer but still no joy. Side guides are correctly set but wherever the sensor is set it will not show this size. All other sizes show up correctly. Any ideas ??

Did you try to switch tray 2 and 3 to see if problem moves to the other tray?

if yes, the problem is inside the tray....sensor or adjusting the guides en sensor
if no, problem with wiring to printer control board?
