Bizhub 750 - J3101 jam codes only with multiple copy runs?

    Hi all,

Having issues with my favourite old piece of crap the Bizhub 750! The machine will copy single sheets fine but as soon as I try to do a run of 2 or more copies it jams on the 2nd one. All jams refer to J3101 (paper leading edge sensor)

I have tried cleaning it and cleaning the window it looks down into but it hasn't made any difference. Has anyone else ever seen this and have any tips/advice?

Really hope someone out there can help as it is driving me mad!

    Cheers.

Does it happen from all trays?

It does indeed. I have ended up ordering the lead edge sensor and the reg clutch but I'm not even that confident that will fix it. Not much else to go on in the service manual unfortunately.

Change the bearings from registration roller. Faulty bearings provide a delay in rotation of the registration roller.

Check the registration motor and associated gears for wearing. The motors got history of problems. Try replacing it.
