when c-6701 occurs, what is really happens? the scanner stuck in the middle of the platern and not return to the home position?

The L1 lamp turns on, the scanner move himself just a little then the error pops-up on the display.

i face a problem something like that in bh 250, where the scanner lamp will move to scan until the size of A4 and wont return back to the position.
