    Bizhub C250 fax problem

I have a Bizhub C250 that we have had in a customers office for several years with no problems. We installed a fax sysyem and everything apears to be right but for the fact if won't send a fax but it will recieve. I had a different C250 with a fax and compaired the settings and I don't see any differences. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Check the following (and in no particular order)

      Marketing area
initialize all fax data (at least 3 times)
check the polarity of the line
check that it is not a dsl or voip (not supported but may work with the correct filter)
      Line quality check
dial a number while on hook and listen to what it says
DO THEY NEED A PREFIX NUMBER ON THIS LINE. ( dial 9 for an outside number then the fax number)

These are the most common errors.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

          Yep, it's that.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
