C550 error code c-3b04

Hey Guys,

I'm fairly new to this forum but where i work we just picked up 3 c550's and have had an error code come up in one of them. Its c-3b04. I cant seem to find an error code ref guide anywhere.

Would anyone know what this code means?

C3B04: IH malfunction.
A problem with the Induction Heating for the fuser (not neccesarily the fuser itself). First thing is make sure the fuser is seated correctly then do trouble reset.

apparently after investigation this turned out to be a problem with the power supply. Go figure.. the code isnt related but the tech from km said it fixes it for everyone.

Hi,I am having same problem..with me the case is that when i reset 3b04 the machine work ok for few prints and the trouble code appears again..can u help me in this regard that how i solve my problem...thnx
