    [Misc] Falling off network C451

    Hi I have a customer with a BH C451

The machine works fine and then stops printing, at this point you cannot ping the machine and the only fix is to switch off/on.

I replaced the HUB/switch, network cable and changed ip address but the problem remained.

I then tested the machine with my laptop and a crossover cable to eliminate the users network and the machine failed on me as well (no reply to ping or print jobs).

we replaced the MFP Board and all appeared to be resolved but now the issue has returned.

    Anyone have this before??

Try a firmware reload, but start with an early base version 1st, then work your way up to current. May also be a problem with RAM (unless your new board came with ram chips installed.Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Turn off all unnecessary network protocalls, disable SMB Direct Hosting, and set the NIC in the machine to the highest speed your switch will handle (probably 100M FullDuplex).
