Bizhub 600 fax forwarding issues

Hello, When machine receives faxes it prints and is also forwarded to email. I would like to have them received in there email as a PDF instead of a TIFF is there a way to change it? when I select the email address in the address book and select details it say it is being sent as a PDF, any suggestions. Thanks

It is not possible to forward an incoming fax with PDF format.

Ignore the above post, thought it was a c200. I believe you set it to pdf under scan settings and then set that to default under user settings.

Close,...you need to program a 1 email one touch set to scan in the format you need, then select that one touch from the address book. Any changes you make to the general defaults will affect all scans. Emujo

when you create a email account through the browser you cannot set up a file type

Sure you can...just not from the 1st registration page, you must choose "program", and within here, you can default PDF or TIFF...

Login to PageScope as "User"
Select "SCAN" tab
Select "program" tab
New registration...Email..next...and you'll see the choices.

Once set up select this one touch from the address book when "fax forwarding"

I think newer "emperon" based let you default in the basic registration screen. Emujo
