Personally, I take out the HDD and just restore it using an image made with Acronis True Image bla bla bla... have you got another controller, to clone the HDD? I would like to help you, but my image is 8,7 GB large... if you know any way I could send it to you, just tell me.I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums? -

If you have the CD/DVD then you should have the instructions for this..Just run the CD, it walks you through everything. There is a dip switch setting that puts the controller in OS update, then with your laptop hooked up via the ethernet connections it pretty much runs itself. Your laptop should be in DHCP..controller assings an address and off you go.
