Biz c360 "Data size too large"

I'm working on a c360 that when scanning more than 20 pages to email I get the message "data size too large". Anyone have any suggestions as to what causes this? I was going to reformat the HDD but the customer was leaving for the day and told me to come back later. Could the HDD be the issue?

Is the size limit in admin mode set to no limit?

i believe the scan to e-mail can be set at 4 meg minium and 10 meg minium size, default is set at 4meg, also try change your scan resolution from 300 dpi to 200 dpi maybe?

I'd go with Bizhub1 advice and set it in admin mode to NO LIMIT..the only limit would be set by the mail server if set on the network. Speak to the local administrator.

Agreed set to no limit, let their exchange manage that. As well for scanning, setting to b&w and lowering resolution will decrease file size. Sounds like there is no problem with the machine.
