bizhub c280 fax to email question

instead of looking on the website for an hour I will ask here.
I have a potential customer wanting to configure their c280 to accept faxes. then to email the faxes directly to an email address. then they do with what they want at that point. is this a fax ser ver I am describing? I have no clue on these. I know konica minolta has second party solutions that they don't make but they sell. any ideas?

You need to go on Pagescope and set it up to forward faxes. Then just enter the forward destination

I can't remember how to do it from the Web Interface, but this is how to enable Fax Forwarding from the machine:

1. Ensure that all email settings are correct (as if scanning to email)
2. Enter in an address into the address book for the forwarded faxes to go to
3. Ultility/Counter
4. Administrator Settings
5. Fax Settings
6. Function Settings
7. Forward TX
8. Set the function to On
9. Set to Forward and Print on Error and select the address from the address book

That should get you going.
