    1. Check that the Fusing Unit is correctly installed.
    2. Reseat connections on the Fusing Unit, PWB-MC and PU1.
    3. Change Fusing Unit (p/n 4049 5240).
    4. Change C351/C450 PWB-MC - Control Board (p/n 4037780301).
    5. If the problem persists, replace Power Supply - PU1 (p/n 4037621102).

Also, if you can get your hands on a line monitor, monitor the line on the outlet and look for any surges. I have had this problem when there is coffee maker, fridge, etc plugged into same circuit.

I second that. These family of copiers are very, very, very notorious for having fuser codes due to power surges. We now highly suggest that all of our customers use professional grade surge suppressors on our machine. Cut down on weird problems.

Hey, if you go to konica/minolta and look under tech bulletins you will see there is a fix for that code.

You are correct, there is a change you can make to one of the dip switches but i did not want to make him go there right away since there could be a chance that he is getting the surges or worse, that he has a bad fuser and can be a potential fire hazard.
