FS 110 Stapler Problem

So, I have this FS 110 with a stapler problem. It will leave marks where the staples were supposed to be, but no staples. I have seen a bent staple on the cartridge after I remove it, and if I try to get it to staple two sets, two staples are on the cartridge. Haven't gone past two, for fear of further issues.

I've verified the staples are the correct ones, and replaced the cartridges with no luck.

From what I've read it may be a staple issue, but I'd like to hear other ideas before I go farming through packs of staples checking to see if that's the case.

usually staple stuck in staple unit

i'd take out staple assembly, inspect, manually turn unit and obseve

put some oil on stapler unit parts that crimp staple

hopefully that will work

As Tec1 said. Otherwise the problem lays in the stapler unit but likely not in the staples itself. Staples are forwarded with a flat metal spring which catches the sheet of staples and forward them to the forming station. Check if that spring is damaged or worn.
