    C350 scan to email

    Does anyone know if there is a way to enter SMTP host name instead of IP for scanning to email on the KonMin C350?

          Just resolve the name into an IP address via command window. Type ping <smtp name> and enter.
          Usually works!

              my memory of these old machines is very rusty.

              but IF you can get your hands on a fiery & video interface it makes them almost a decent machine in terms of processing speed, from memory the fiery also alows SMTP server name input OR IP, but you'd want to confirm that before going through the effort. A fiery is a worthwhile upgrade on any c350 used as a printer, as quite honestly the internal controller is as slow as hell, and almost completely useless printing modern complex pdf's etc.
