Scanning from 350 to desktop with a mac

Our receptionist usually takes care of these sort of things, but with her away I've been asked to scan some documents to my desktop. The display panel shows a list with several people in the office on it, but I can't figure out how to add myself to the list. I've tried accessing the admin menu on the printer, but can't find anywhere to add a new user. I've also tried to connect to it using my browser, but it won't connect. Most information I've found deals with windows computers, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do I need to download and install the drivers to my computer to access the ip in my browser?
