Working on c450 changed the black iu out with on one the shelf to check cq problems and i got a c 2558 code on the machine. (i am assuming the iu on the shelf had the dv spilled???) anyway, i put the original unit back in but the code will not go away. Any suggestions? I need it up today and i do not have a new iu.

Error code relates to an out of range ATDC sensor level detected on the black I.U
It normally happens when customer does not replace the toner when prompted.
It can usually be cleared by opening and closing the front or right side covers thus allowing the machine to cycle and add toner until it reaches an acceptable level.
If not cleared after four or five attempts go into service mode and run tcr toner supply for black.(In Image Adjustment)
This will clear down the error -
