Adding fax to bizhub c250

Can someone tell me whats involved to move fax from one bizhub c250 to another? Thanks.

I dont remember back quite that far but im sure themachines built in controller will accept the fk-502 using the mk-706 mount kit. if the fax is installed on a c250 then u will have to pull the board and the mount kit.

Go into service mode and turn off fax option, remove fax, mount kit and fax memory from old machine. Go to new machine and install mount kit, fax board and fax memory. Go into service mode and enable fax option. Make sure to set fax target appropriately.

So I will have the fax board, memory, battery and speaker?

Yes. The speaker is behind the front cover under the control panel I think. Don't forget the mount kit. It is an interface board the the fax board plugs into.

im pretty sure it was standard in most markets but a working hard disk is also mandatory for a fax to work in most bizhubs.

I don't find a battery like the c450 has so it looks like all I have is the fax card, the interface/mount board and the speaker.....does this sound right? and memory board

There is no battery for the c250 fax kit.
