I had to replace the system CF card on a 750 a while back. Lost all of the customers settings and it basically turned the machine into a "new-out-of-the-box" state.

Since the MFP can email/scan w/o the HDD installed, my vote is the CF card..I believe it's the one thats accessable from the side. HDD only stores "print to user box", and secure print data. Emujo
