[Misc] KM bizhub 163 - Imaging Unit

    Hi!

What could be cause of this case :

I'v got toner line, ( 5 mm wide),at the top of the copy, leading whole edge. So I separated IU/Developing unit, and I found that on the right side of magnetic roller in developing unit, toner is getting concentrated on about 6 mm space, what I wanna say is that there's the same amount that spreads over whole lenght, but at this part,it kinda gets fat...

I want to mention, that on the same side, that plastic is wasted, but I dont think It causes problem since toner cannot get stick to it, it isnt magnetic...

    Would appriciate any suggestions.

    Thanks

As mentioned before in one of your several threads about this same machine you have to replace at least the rear collar of the mag roller together with the seal. The rear collar (and often also the front collar) is wobbling and causing the drum to come too near of the mag roller. This damages the seal and that's likely the reason why you have those marks on the copy.

Without cleaning of the mag roller and replacement of the collar(s) seal(s) you have no chance solving this issue. What you are calling plastic is the rear end seal of the mag roller. If the seal is damaged you MUST replace it and you MUST replace the collar as well. Doing this, take care not to loose part of your newly installed developer.

            Collar 4163-5298-01 front + rear
            Seal 4163-5260-01 front + rear
            Seal 4163-5221-01 front only
            Seal 4163-5237-01 rear only

If the money is not too tight you better replace front and rear collars and also the front and rear seals.

Its not my business, but why? When your boss is a cheapo, not buying you the proper manuals and/or sending you to training, its not your fault.

Modern MFP's are very complicated equipment. Training is very important and without manuals you are lost.
