    customer called w/c3101 code on this box. fuser drive assembly was recently replaced. short of replacing this assembly again, anything else we might look at for a cause of this?

      Check the retraction motor and sensor (PC23). These old boxes have some glitchy motors, so my bet is that it's what's giving you the code.

          thanks avskrap, took whole retraction assembly from parts machine and swapped w/bad one. so far it's working fine.
