bizhub 423/223 soft switch. turn the drum count off?

have flipped through the book. but what is the soft switch that turns off the iu counter? if it is even available. I know at 120k they say it needs developer drum. etc. but can this counter be shut off. and also if they can. how many copies are people getting out of them? just a question. I was thinking about. thanks for your time

so just to ask another question on this thread then. if I turn off the reminders and change all those bits like smells hot stated. will that run another drum life? in other words. how long are people actually getting out of a drum unit and developer when these reminders are shut off? thanks again
        I appreciate the comments

I'm not sure with this model but, the BH350 line will go 20 to 25K after the change PC message comes on. I would expect about the same from the BH423 line.
          Hope this helps

well I went on a service call the other day. and they had a bizhub 350 with the change drum light on. and it had 179k on that drum unit. it was like 170 percent when I looked at the consumable counter. anyways if all of the indicators are turned off and it does not say replace drum. I was just wondering how far they would go. the bizhub 200 series always had the darn line on the end becuase of the ds positioning color. these newer ones seem to be way better. thanks

We do the firmware and soft switches on all our machines , they will run way past life , have had some run more than double without any deterioration in copy quality .

here is what I noticed. when I typed in switch 51 the line below it was all 000000000 there was not
a single 0x00. did I do something wrong?
I did turn the consumable indicator off
and that should help. but still if the user looks at consumable life indicator. they will all be full
but it won't prohibit copying right?
