    Hi there!
Sorry, but we have 3 machines in the field also eating the fuser-units. The customers use no thick paper, but preprinted letterheads. After 80-100K copies/prints there are wrinkles on the pressroller - must change the unit! We have this problem for ca. 8-9 month, before this phenomen was not occuring! Phoning the hotline ends up with "never had this problem since you call". I think they using SH..-parts in China at the manufacturer.

    Greetings...

we've 2 of these style machines (652) destroying fusers every 100K

even tried swapping the entire machines over and they did the same thing.

these machines can not and must not be used as production machines, they are office machines and must be used as such.

if you do long continuous runs of repetitive massive jobs with high coverage the fusers will self destruct, particularly if they are A3 or 11x17" jobs. The sponge material will crumble on the metal core and the external orange heat roller skin will begin to tear and break up.

Cant say that ive seen many pressure rollers fail, they usually fail internally and twist on the core, resulting in a corkscrew pattern on the page.
