c350 side door not latching

so I noticed that the big right side door will not latch. the front one will. but the back one just wont. so subsequently there are a few jamming issues because of the latch not latching properly. was there a mod for this? I have looked a little but will go back and continue to search. thanks gents an gals

Haven't seen a mod for that latch, but I have had to replace several of them that get bent. Usually the metal rail that secures the two plastic latches gets bent. I've never tried, but I would guess that metal rail is compatible with other machines.

ya I just tightened up the 2 latches that attatch to that rod. there is a lot of pressure there. I tried to reform a little bit. but I am going to order one. mabee... if km still has them. thanks

We have replaced heaps of those latches as it is pretty common for them to break.

Your on the right track with replacing the latches.
