    bizhub C250 scan to smb problem

    Hello,

    I have a problem with scanning on bizhub C250 I hope you guys could help me. I have 1 machine and 4 computers connected to a router. The problem is each computer always changes IP Address so every time I scan to smb for example on computer 1, it detects a job log error so i have to go to web interface again and correct the new ip address of the computer again. Is there a way to solved this problem? Thank you.

    Don't use the IP address, use the host name of the PC you want to scan to..Emujo

      And if for some reason you can't get DNS working correctly, you could always set DHCP reservations on the router so that each computer always gets the same IP address everytime.

      You will need to find out the MAC address of each PC to do this, but can be easily found by going to the command prompt and typing 'ipconfig /all' (without the quotation marks).
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
