The c351 Im currently working on has an extremely weird
image defect. On the lead edge about an inch and a half in on a
full text doc the text crunches vertically down a straight line
and on a graphic doc it does this where there is text at the
same spot then on the graphic about two and a half inches in
from the lead edge its a straight vertical wavy type defect
about 1/2in wide going down the page but only effecting the
graphic.
Note this only happens on black docs and does not happen on
the first copy or printout. On the second sheet however the
defect occurs and continues until you start a new job. I could
do 1 at a time all day. Also note full color jobs look great and
Ive changed the Black Imaging Unit. Ive also tested paper orientation
and duplex which it still occurs. BLK wide format however comes out fine.
It seems like its has to do with the development of blk, but Im having issues
pin pointing if its mechanical or board related. Its gotta be in the BLACK (or so Im assuming).
Its kinda hard to fully explain the defect in text so Ive attached corresponding samples. 2 blk, 1 color showing it doesn't do it on color.
Thanks Any Help is Appreciated!
