My first thought is to update firmware. If that doesn't fix it. I'm thinking corrupt files on CF card.....

if the "job done improperly" message is showing up on the PC. Make sure the auto aquire function in the print driver is disabled (if it has it). This will cause the second job to fail whenever multiple jobs are sent from any of the newer MicroSoft Office products. If you just ignor the message the job will complete after about a minute, but most customers react as soon as they see the message and start rebooting the printer and generate a service call.
