I've found that if you scan to the public folder on a win7 64 bit box it's a piece of cake to get them to scan, if you try to make a folder and try to have it scan to that it's a HUGE pain in the butt. So I've been send them to the public share.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

      a. DHCP must be OFF on the MFP.

I'm intrested in why you state DHCP must be off???

Although I can see the value in assisgning a static IP for printing (but DHCP when set up correctly works quite well), the MFP being in DHCP or static has no bearing on scanning back to a shared folder...Not slamming your advice, just wondering why you think this must be so...EMujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

This machine uses 139 as it still some what relies on NetBIOS over TCP/IP where as 445 does not require NetBIOS over TCP/IP.

The biggest thing on any Konica Minolta is to make sure that the NTLM version is set to v1/v2:

          1. Utility / Counter
          2. Admin Settings
          3. Network Settings
          4. SMB Settings
          5. Client Settings
          6. Change NTLM version.

The machines are set to NTLM v1 out of the box, but Windows Vista and up (including all versions of Active Directory from 2003) use NTLM v2.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
