Konica 7155 Toner dropping on transfer ends. Black Background on copies...

Toner is dropping down from drum unit onto fuser/transport area. Have not been in drum unit yet. Figure it has something to do with the waste toner, maby clogged.
This has got to be a common problem but Konicas arent my specialty. Does anyone know whats goin on... Thanks so much

this is a common problem with these machines. the drum unit wares and the seals in the cleaning unit go.
I wouldn't be surprised if the seals in the developer unit were shot as well.
your best course of action would be to replace the whole drum carrier and all the seals, as well as the developer unit.
this may be a larger than expected cost up front, but it is going to save you time and head ache in the long run.

Replace the lower cleaning seal unit.

Do you have a part number for the lwr cleaning unit, Having a heck of a time getting a manual for this machine....
