    Di3510 to Di3510f

    Hi,
I am wanting to move the fax parts form a high volume Di3510f to a low volume Di3510.
I have connected the battery and fitted the scan board, the print controller, the fax board & the network card.
The web interface reports the fax as not installed. I think I am missing something obvious but it has not put up its hand and waved for a couple of Hours... Would appreciate any help.

Does the control panel on the low volume 3510 have a button on it to access the fax? That would be a deal killer.

i had these 2 machines side by side and never worked out how to convert the non f into an f.

be interesting to know what exactly is the secret part that makes the magic happen.

the non f's require cutting sheet metal too as there is no cutout for the line ports from memory.

the f version does have a different control panel, as it has a pause key (for dialing)

I have done this twice. You definitely have to swap MFBS boards and NVRam. I think I remember swapping main boards as well. And control panels a previously mentioned. No need to cut sheet metal either.
          Hope this helps.
