    Server 2008 R2 64 bit support for C5500

I posted this a few days ago but can't seem to find the post anymore so I apologize for the double posting...

Anyone have a C5500 w/ IC408 successfully printing with 2008 R2 64bit? The driver (ISO File) that KM offers induces an 03xxxxxx error each time I try to load it. It will work if we connect to the print/direct queue, but customer wants uniformity when clients are connecting to the driver and this "looks to different". Thanks for any help. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

    Re: Server 2008 R2 64 bit support for C5500

Copied from the EFI Tech Ticker July 2012:

Tech note: Windows 7, 2008 Server R2; Fiery support?
If the Postscript driver for the given Fiery is compatible with 32-bit/64-bit XP/Vista/2003 Server/2008 Server (see the list, below), the same Postscript driver should work fine on Windows 7 and 2008 Server R2. However, EFI has determined that PCL print drivers shipped prior to December 2009 are not compatible.
EFI has released to KM a Windows 7/2008 Server R2 compatible PCL driver for IC-408 v2.0 and IC-412 v1.1
Windows 7/2008 Server R2 compatible utilities including CWS 5.3 have been posted on the EFI website. Standalone CWS 5.3 and Fiery Extended Applications Package (3e) can be found at:
