[Misc] Little pile of toner on drum

Hi, Quick question for you guys.

I just acquired a Bizhub C550 and it is leaving a black smear on the copies. When I look at the Imiging unit, there is a little pile of toner building up on it. any ideas???

It's probably developer, if the powder sticks to your magnetic screwdriver it's developer. Replace the unit

550's loads of problems with dropping black dev, mainly to do with poor connections on the back of IU,

There is a mod which is a plate that holds the K dev unit secure in the M/C (tighter than the blue handle)

If you can't get the mod replace the IU and pack the blue handle to give more pressure to the front of the IU

If you can't get the mod replace the IU and pack the blue handle to give more pressure to the front of the IU

And replace the tray 3 & 4 paper feed drive gear in 6 months after it has worn out from the dev having dropped on it.
