There is a tone adjustment in user mode but the best way to adjust the density if you are a tech is in service mode 36. 7.4.8 Tone adjustment Conduct the tone adjustment of red, green or blue.
Use this adjustment for changing the center value
for the tone adjustment in the user mode.
A. Procedure 1. Enter the 36 mode. 2. "36 mode menu screen" Press the [3. Image quality adjustment] key. 3. "Image quality mode menu screen" Press the [8. Tone adjustment] key. 4. "Tone adjustment mode menu screen" For the tone adjustment, the following items
are provided:
[1. Red adjustment]
[2. Green adjustment]
[3. Blue adjustment] 5. Press the key of an item you want to adjust. 6. Press the [PREVIOUS SCREEN] key to return from each of the adjustment screen to the
"Image quality mode menu screen."

Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
