C25 no control panel

control panel is dead other than a couple led's screen is blank, however printer engine is still showing signs of life if door opened and closed etc.

anyone had this before ?

I havent been out to site yet, will be tomorrow.

(and no, i dont need a f-ing manual)

Hi there!
Had a similar problem at a C35: disassembled the whole assy, cleaned all contacts with tunerspray, let it dry & reassembled it. No more problems after 3 month.

this fix was really quite complicated, and I thought I'd share my findings.


step one, turn off power switch

step two, wait ten seconds,

step three, turn on power switch.

wow, that was hard, and really worth the 45 minute drive...

Apparently this had already been tried - so who knows. I did after that end up reseating all connections anyway and loading the latest fw available.
