Konica Bizhub 500 service mode problem

    Hey everyone

I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub 500 that says replace fuser, rebuilt the fuser, now it will not let me reset the counter, I go into trouble reset mode, then service mode , it lets me into service mode, hovever, when I select system 1 to go in and reset the counter, it just sits there, no matter what selection I make, it will not do anything, any ideas. I have never seen one do this
    Thanks in advance

Can you go into service mode directly? By that I mean NOT going through trouble reset mode.

power off the machine and reboot while holding down the utility/counter key.
then enter the service mode, enter the default access code and go from there.
if all else fails, beat it with a big stick.

Then something else is wrong... Pull the fuser a double check all your connections (lamps, thermistors etc)... Then try the trouble reset again.
