      Is Print without Authentication enabled on the machine?

      Does the driver have the User Authentication enabled?
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

          You need to have the loadable device driver installed for the bio unit, then it needs to be on under the billing settings..I believe when you have met these conditions, and the unit is plugged in you will see the option under the ADMIN/authentication settings for ON MFP/and device. If the print driver shows a X for ID and print then as far as it's concerned, there is no authentication device installed. You can verify what the driver sees by doing an update in the configure tab..it should poll the devcie and reflect what type of authentication is in use. Emujo
