My biggest issue is when will KM come out with a driver that works for the ISW trans and Windows 7??? I still have to keep a winxp box laying aound just in case we have to update firmware on the 500s /920s...Emujo

You have to do this in windows registered driver disabled mode..... I have the 950 experience to prove it.

Well...I was able to install the firmware with the photo CF card I mentioned earlier.
However, the network and controller GUI buttons are still missing!!!

I guess I really am stuck with HW replacements.
(e.g., MFP board, NVRAM--an undesirable venture. Or perhaps that other interface card/jumper for the 409 that plugs into the the mfp board)...unless there is a secret patch that I do not know of...

Probably going to be forced to escalate this to Konica ($$$).

NVRAM is not an orderable spare part so shouldn't actually cost anything to obtain. (it doesn't here)

KM usually want you to replace absolutely everything prior to giving into nvram requests, unless the meter count is corrupt.

If you are able to flash the machine now
Contact techsupport and see if they will release you firmware to reset the nvram nic settings, this will solve your problem
