    Minolta EP1083 error code C05

    Good day,i need help on this MinoltaEP1083 it display error code C05.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

    C05 will also show 2 more digits in the copy number display either 00 or 10. One means fuser underheat the other means overheat.
    I usually clean the thermistor then reset the error and watch to see if the heater lamp comes on. If not check lamp and thermal fuse.
    If it does come on but errors out again then replace the thermistor.
    Error code is reset by depressing the small push switch located in the bottom corner of the main PCB at the rear of the machine whilst switched on and with all covers closed. Then switch machine off and back on again.

        it would be nice to know if mr clliffhangers would advise us if this fixed the problem for him. some good advice was given on how to fix this. worse case you are going to need parts. I tried a year or so ago to get 1080 parts and I was not sucessful on getting anything from minolta.

          I'll bet you needed those clutches cause of cracked gears.........
